From her earliest memories, Ms. Amanda says she always knew that she wanted to become a teacher. The goal of wanting to make an impact on a child's life led her to her first teaching job at Mission Montessori. Realizing the potential of young children and learning the Montessori method was life changing and once she started she knew that she would never turn back. She immediately knew that she wanted to take the Montessori training and become a Montessorian. Amanda understands that the philosophy is so much more than just a way of teaching inside a classroom; it's a lifestyle and a way of thinking. Children need peace and love and Amanda says she is so grateful to be able to give that to them while educating them! When she's not teaching, she loves spending time with family, going to concerts, listening to live music and being outside in the sun.
