Healthy Hot Lunches

Lunch is an exceptional part of our day at Mission Montessori. Students enjoy this special time together practicing grace and courtesy, and eating family-style meals. A blessing is sung before every meal giving thanks for food and community. As part of the practical life experience, children participate in both the set-up and clean-up of snacks and meals and learn to take responsibility for the cleanliness of their areas. Children are offered 2-3 snacks per day. Lunches are served with organic whole milk, are available for $6.00 per day, and may be chosen on a day-to-day basis.
