Ms. Maria joined the Mission Montessori team in 2020 and brings with her a deep passion for early childhood education. A lifelong learner, she says she has always felt called to be an educator, a path inspired by the many impactful teachers she had growing up. Maria completed her early childhood education studies at Fullerton College and finds daily inspiration in the way young children view the world. She believes their natural curiosity and wonder serve as powerful reminders to continue growing, exploring, and learning—no matter your age.
Outside the classroom, Maria enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, playing soccer in an adult league, hiking, reading, and taking their Husky to the beach.
